The course will provide students with practical
training in the accounting discipline, leading to careers to
work as assistant to accountants, tax clerks, audit clerks.
This Diploma has been developed under the Australian Qualifications
Framework and as such it is a government accredited and nationally
recognised course.
It will provide students all needed prerequisites to undertake
Advanced Diploma of Accounting. It may also assist students
in enrolling for undergraduate degrees in accounting in some
Australian universities.
The Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia (CPA) generally
provide these Diploma holders up to one (1) year credit while
enrolling for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) course.
The Diploma of Accounting is a highly valued qualification
by the financial services industry, the education and training
providers and the wider community within Australia.
The course requires students to complete four (4) core industry
units, five (5) prerequisite units, five ( 5) sectoral core
units and three ( 3) elective units or, a total of seventeen
(17) units.

| Qualification recognition |
This qualification like other CIBT qualification is
based on the principles, guidelines and standards set
by the Australian Quality Training Framework ( AQTF).
As such it has national recognition.
Under the obligation of mutual recognition CIBT recognises
the qualifications delivered by other institutions who
are based on the AQTF. So your 'Qualification' or 'Statement
of Attainment' from other 'Registered Training Organisation
(RTOs)' will be accepted as equivalent attainment or qualification
by CIBT. |

| Learning support |
CIBT provides learning support in a number of areas
including language and numeracy, undertaking assignments.
It provides one-to-one counseling in case of learning
difficulties.
It may organise psychological counseling in case of difficulties
in adjustment in the Australian learning environment or
personal traumas and disappointments.
CIBT can also assist you in organising yourself in Sydney
including organizing health cover and finding jobs. |

| Refund and cancellation policy |
Enrolment fee and accommodation booking fees are non refundable
Any application for refund must be in writing. Tuition fee
will be refunded in full if • CIBT is notified

or • The candidate is not granted a Student
visa. In this instance a rejection letter from the Australian
embassy/consulate must accompany the application •
